Reports: U.S. drone targets Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen

Citing U.S. officials, CNN and The New York Times are reporting that a U.S. drone targeted radical American-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki during the last 48 hours in Yemen, where he is believed to be hiding.
Both news networks report that the strike, which occurred in a remote region of the country, did not appear to have killed the cleric.
